Join Brooke, Lotsie and guests for this continuing education yoga teacher training. Individual modules or full training options available.  In addition to the specific themed weekends, we have guest teachers for our monthly Wednesday nights to offer introductory specialized study including Prenatal/Postpartum Yoga, Ayurveda, Hands on Assists, The Business & Ethics of Yoga, Yin Yoga, Trauma Informed Yoga, Advanced Asana Lab and more! These additional elements & monthly Wednesday meetups are available for those who register for the full training. Training participants will also receive Reiki I & II certification and Yoga Nidra certification, both of these modules with certification also available as an individual module.

The 5 Elements (TCM), Yin Yoga & Thai Massage

The external is a reflection of the internal . With our insides strong, and when energy is able to flow freely, we experience harmony as well as balance. We experience a centeredness in both body and mind. This module will focus on the internal geography of our being. Themes to be studied include:

  • Traditional Chinese Medicine and the 12 traditional meridians of the body

  • The Five Elements and how to embody them

  • Acupressure and the integration there of into your teaching

  • Yin Yoga and it's relationship to Chinese Medicine and the main meridians

  • Thai Yoga Massage

This module is open to yoga teachers, practioners and anyone curious in deepening their knowledge of the 5 elements and/or Thai Massage.

Yoga Nidra Certification Training

April 4-6 & 16*

(Friday 5-8pm, Sat & Sun 9:30am-4:30pm, Wed. 6-8pm*)

Yoga Nidra, also known as physic sleep, has been around for hundreds of years but only recently introduced to the states in the 1960's. The method consists of a meditation that gently works through the energetic layers of the body. With each segment of the guided script read, a layer is peeled back and the practitioner is able to settle deeper into their subconscious. Yoga Nidra encourages total surrender allowing the mind to quiet and the body to become completely relaxed. This weekend is a certification in itself. You will enjoy time to both teach and be a student. Discover the scientific side of Yoga Nidra including how it affects our brain and neural pathways as well as the energetic benefits. Come away from this time with confidence and cadence to lead this beautiful and restful practice.

Pranayama & Meditation

May 3-4 & 14*

(Sat & Sun full weekend, Wed. 6-8pm*)

Pranayama is the practice of consciously controlling your breath to free the obstacles of both mind and body so that your vital force (prana) can flow with ease. With a knowledge of how to tap into a more controlled breath, discover the ability to enhance your experience on the mat as well as in your daily life. Within the weekend you will also learn what meditation really is. Often we are told that meditation is the practice of quieting the mind, which yes that is a part of it. What is most profound is that meditation helps the mind do what it was intended to do, to be simplified and organized so that it can better focus on the Self. Spend the weekend both in studentship and as the space holder in witnessing the direct effects of these practices in the body, mind and heart.

Practice Teaching Weekend

May 30-June 1

Opportunity for participants to teach specialized classes & workshops and receive feedback, refinement and support from peers and staff.  The module will also include the Business of Yoga; ethics, class etiquette, how to live as a Yoga teacher, and teacher mentoring. This module is for full training participants only unless approved by the lead trainers.

Mastering The Stack: October 17, 5:30-7:30pm

 

Join Matt Phippen for an in-depth workshop on The Stack—a powerful approach to aligning and stabilizing the body by stacking the respiratory and pelvic diaphragms. Through intentional core engagement, intra-abdominal pressure, and hamstring activation, you’ll learn to create an unbreakable core canister. This technique not only enhances core stability, but also supports injury prevention and rehabilitation, while improving overall movement efficiency. Perfect for anyone looking to optimize their strength, mobility, and resilience. All are welcome. 

 

Unlocking Rotation: October 18, 12-2pm

 

Discover the transformative power of rotational and lateral movements in this workshop with Matt Phippen. Focusing on transverse and frontal plane mechanics—essential for proper human locomotion—you’ll explore how to move beyond the sagittal plane and reclaim the dynamic range of motion your body was evolved for. Learn how precise, intentional movement can counteract the sedentary patterns of modern life, unlocking strength, mobility, and natural locomotion. Movement is medicine, and it’s time to reconnect with how your body was meant to move. All are welcome.

 

Grounded Strength—Connecting Feet to Glutes: October 18, 3:30-5:30pm

 

In this workshop with Matt Phippen, you will explore the powerful relationship between your feet and your butt. Dive into the mechanics of foot pronation and hip extension, and discover the critical role cortical awareness and sense perception play in effectively activating your glutes. Your feet are the first point of connection between your body and the external world—learning to sense the ground, particularly under the arch during mid-stance, is essential for glute activation and optimal movement. Rediscover how grounding yourself—physically sensing the ground—can refine your posture, enhance movement mechanics, and help you cultivate a deeper connection to the world around you. All are welcome. 

 

Effort + Ease—The Art and Science of Functional Breathing: October 19, 12-2pm

 

Come discover the transformative power of functional breath mechanics. Through science-based tools and exercises, you’ll learn to improve the alignment of the ribcage and pelvis, creating space for better, more efficient breathing. The session will begin with intentional effort—essential for repositioning and restoring optimal function—but will conclude with soft, restorative poses that will leave you feeling deeply relaxed and nurtured. You'll experience how effort and ease work together to cultivate a breath that supports your body, mind, and overall well-being. All are welcome.
